I just got a used GE Side by Side refrigerator freezer. The model # is A4425GDTAWW
It has been plugged in for a day. It gets cold but the freezer side is getting frost on all interior sides and isn't defrosting. Does anyone have the book that shows how to do the diagnostics on this model? Any help appreciated. Thank you.

The self defrost system has failed. It consists of a defrost timmer,heater,defrost bimetal thermostat. These parts will need to be tested to find the failed part or do what I do and just replace all 3 since I do not want to have to go back to the job a second time when one of the other parts fail.
