I have a Lennox heat/air central unit. When I turn it on, the fan is not moving and it is not blowing any heat. If I turn the unit on and go out to look at the unit, I can hear it trying to work, but to no avail. Any suggestions as to what part could be the problem?

First,, check the breakers,, to indoor furnace/airhandler and outdoor unit,, if indoor unit doesn`t have voltage it can`t send signal to outside unit,, try setting the tstat to fan only although its cold air the fan should come on if there power,, let us know

Thanks wmproop. Have tried both of those. Reset the breaker, didn't work. Also switched to unit to cool to see if the air was working, it wasn't, also switched the unit over to just the fan. Went outside and inspected the unit. You can hear something in the unit running, but the fan is not turning and no cold or warm air is coming out of the vents.
