Rar is like a zip file. Look for Winrar application to "unrar" the file.
And remember - no piracy!;)

1. Search winrar sofware on the internet.
2. Install winrar in ur machine.
3. Right click on the rar file which u need to convert, and click on "extract files" or "extract files here"

Ur work is done.
Just make sure if ur file is in rar format or its in ram format.
Because if it is in ram format then u will be needing a ram to mp3 converter.

OK.
If you have song in RAR format just follow the SHATRYA advices.
If your archived file is different than MP3 format and is not media file you can`t convert it to MP3.

First you own NeedKarma an apology. He did answer your question, you just don't have enough knowledge to understand it.

RAR files are compressed archives. In any file there is some wasted space. There are utilities that can compress files by eliminating the waste. They use complex algorithms to compress these files. ZIP files are the most popular form of compressed file, RAR is another one.

So you don't really "convert" an
RAR to an MP3. You EXTRACT the MP3 from inside the RAR file. To do this you need a utilities that performs the extract. WinRAR is the most popular utility of that type.
