Hi, I dyed my hair this past Sunday (21st) a fushia purple color for Lo'real. The color is turning more into a burgundy and wasn't exactly the "purple I thought it would turn out to be. I only dyed the lower half of my hair this color. The top half is still medium/dark brown. My question is, can I dye my hair back to brown or do I need to wait? The color is not bad but its not the color I wanted. My hair is still rinsing out a light reddish pink. If I were to dye it now would it take? Just don't want to waste money & time. Also is there a special brown dye I need to buy- last thing I want is to have my hair turn another unwelcomed color. Any info would be great.

Heyy. Hmm.. I would wait for all the colour to come out. If its already coming out then you could probably dye next week.
Did you bleach it before you put dye on it?
I would use a shade slightly darker than your natural colour because it will fade.
I always think your safe if you stick to neutral colours - ash can go grey, golden can go orange.
Hope I've helped a bit

Hi, thanks for your reply. No I did not bleach my hair- it rather good to the my hair. It is just dying down a little bit to more a burgundy rather than the purple I was going for. The color is not bad at all but its just wasn't what I thought it was going to be. I will just wait till it stops rinsing out pink and try redying. Yeah, I was thinking about purchasing a dark brown or even black dye to put over it. I know how hard red can be to get out of your hair... been there done that. Thanks again!
