I have a Fahrenheat wall heater. The fan runs but the air is cool. I'm unable to find the paperwork for this heater and I do not remember the model number, but it is a smaller unit. I'd appreciate any assistance with troubleshooting the problem. Can I repair or do I need to purchase another heater? This unit is only about 5 years old. I have cleaned it but no help.

Take the bottom cover off and see if the pilot is lit. Also see if main burners are lit when thermostat is turned way up. If main burners don't ignite you most likely have a bad high limit switch.

This is small, wired electric unit. I will see if I can locate the "fuse" it refers to. The manual states to check with the factory. Hopefully it's something I can repair myself. Thank you for your reply. I really appreciate it.

Any component in the electric heater circuit could be the culprit. Troubleshooting will be rather difficult without a voltmeter.
