View Full Version : Bryant Plus 80 Code 33 any ideas? Blower runs all time!

I have a Bryant Plus 80model 395cav048135 that runs for about 10 minutes (blows heat etc) then flames shut off but fan runs continusly till reignites and heats again. (aprox 10-15 minutes) have tried researching this am but no definte answers any ideas?:)

Check the service label for translation of code 33 and suggested corrective action.

Could be your high temp limit switch is opening up. This device is part of the safety mechanism for your furnace. This means the temp is too high inside the combustion chamber. My high temp switch eventually gave up altogether and opened up and stayed that way causing me to have to replace it. I feel the original cause was a dirty air filter. I'm good now with the replacement switch AND a clean filter.
