Hi I have a 1991 toyota truck 22re motor when I first start it the choke is on and when the choke gos down as the motor heats when the choke is all the way down the motor idles up and downand won't stop. Any help would be great. Thank you

The question isn't phrased quite right. Is the engine carburated or fuel injected. I'm really familiar with the 22R.

We call it surging at idle. It's vacuum pipe routing. If it's got A/C, then go to the vacuum switching valve for ac idle up. It's mounted on top of the valve cover. There are two large vacuum lines that come from it. One goes to vacuum source, and the other goes to the ac idle up valve. These 2 lines could be backwards, or the idle up valve needs adjusted, or replaced.
