I own a slab home and it has a moisture problem! Someone suggested that the house is on a natural spring or aquifer. How do I confirm that it is or is not on a natural spring or aquifer. If it is how do I fix it.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wow get a geologist.
Check with neighbors in surrounding area and ask how deep the wells are
Also ask if anybody has an artesian well ( natural water pressure with well pump off. Are there naturals springs in your area? I live close to an underground lake. I seen an artesian well on a top of a big hill after it was drilled explode and ran so much it washed out roads 1/8 mile away. Do you just have wet dampness or actual water and how old is the house and does this come and go? Is the ground out side prone to be wet throughout the year?
Need more info

Are you quite sure that you don't have a hidden leak under the slab? Regards, Tom

I'd explorewhat Tom is questioning here. Even surface water should not create a big issue with a slab. If you have water coming up through cracks and leaking in the home then you have water under pressure. Shut off your main for as long as possible and see if it makes any difference in the activity.
