View Full Version : Kenmore dryer (gas), no heat

Need help getting my Kenmore dryer to work, everything works,except it gets no heat.Ihave a big family,my wife and five children,we really need dryer working do about 3 loads a day.Help would be great Thanks.

fubar454 - this is if the unit is in working order- the drum will turn::
#1- a faulty gas burner - #1a- if burner uses a pilot light and is out- relight pilot as per lighting instruct
Ions:: #2 - note- inproper mixture of the gas and air in the burner leads to
Poor combustion and { inefficient}
Heating:: #2b- to correct the mixtures
Adjust the air shutter in the burner
So that the flame appears a light blue
No yellow tips and does not have a roar sound to it ::
#3- if dryer continues to heat poorly <diont do anything else and call a appliance repairman that works on gas units::: stay safe< don't need another man on the moon:: good luck and god bless :: f.b.e.
