Hi. I am renovating the 2nd floor bath. Everything worked fine before the reno. I am planning to move the vent stack about 14" further from the toilet than it is now. (the horizontal waste run continues past this vertical vent stack and then goes down vertical into the basement). The sink and the shower drained into the 3" waste toilet horizontal drain before the vertical vent and will continue to drain into it. (both the shower and the sink have vents that go vertical into the attic and connect at a horizontal branch... this horizontal branch turns a 90' angle and meets up with the main 3" vertical stack (the one I plan to move)....
question: will my toilet flush and will my fixtures work?..thanks.

(oh...the tub does not have its own vent...the vertcal stack is about 36" from the new tub drain)

Not sure how to use this site when replying, but thanks for taking the time to reply... as I mentioned... I was worried that the toilet will not flush if the vent stack were moved further away from it...
Question: where does the toilet get its air then?
