I have a 1964 Bobcat snow blower made by Wisconsin Marine. I need to find a replacement belt for their #98 in the parts sheet. The belt is a V-Belt about 53.5 inches by 1/2. But it is very narrow on the tappered end.

So this belt is more V shaped?(the pulley is almost to a complete V?)
If so,you could:
1) try a belt of equal length(53.5 ") and see if it will stay on the pulley system.
2) Change the pulleys and use any size belt that fits the new configuration best.
Just few ideas, maybe another can help finding the right part.

Go to DAYCO.COM - MARKIV Automotive Aftermarket (http://www.dayco.com) and lookup the dayco belt #.
Armed with this number go to a NAPA store. They will substitute again.

Hi,
I recently sold my last belt and will be trying to order more. The belt number is 65091A, it's 7/16 X 54.14" and has a 60 degree angle and that's why you can't find a belt. My name is Steven R. Waite and my website is Page 1 (http://www.bobcatsnowthrowers.com) and Page 1 (http://www.stevessmallenginerepairservice.com)
