There is this girl that I've known for about 5 months now. We've kind of became best friends. She's in my class for the whole year and she also lives basically in the same neighborhood as me. Like 200 feet away probably. Well I goof around with her a lot. I kind of flirt with her and I've now come to realize that I have feelings for her. The problem is that I know that she doesn't like me like that... but I also want to believe that there is hope that she can.

What kind of ways can I get her to become closer to me and maybe start to like me?

To be honest you have to just be yourself don't try and change to get a girl because at the end of the day it will never work out. How do you know how she feels about you she might be thinking the same the best thing to do is just explain to her how you feel and she what she says

There is no way to make some one feel the way you do about them, but as Burtyjim said, just be yourself, and be a good guy.

Just tell her how you feel, and see what she says, but don't crushed if she just likes you as a friend, just be a good friend.

Yeah do not change who you are to win her over! Besides she all ready knows you, so you mi8ght end up with a double bad.

Maybe it's a good idea to talk to her and see what she says.

I did that with a friend of mine, and it turned out he wasn't keen, which is fine. At least I got a real answer and then I could move on from it.

You should keep it simple though if you tell her that you like her... hehe do not use the word in love. But just say I like you.
