If an arrest warrant has been issued for violation of probation, do I have to be arrested or turn myself in or can an attorney just get a court date set for me? Just trying to see if it's possible to avoid going to jail and bonding out.

Hello s:
There is NO bond for a probation violation. I'd just turn myself in. It's better than being thrown on the ground and having a cop step on your neck.

The way the system works is like this. You can either wait for them to find you, or you can turn yourself in. You wait in jail for your violation of probation hearing. There is no bonding out of a probation violation. Where did you get this misinformation?

Just trying to see if it's possible to avoid going to jail and bonding out. you can get another court date if you talk to the right people cause I just had to deal with the same situtation.
