I really wish my parents would tell me more but they never will I need a way to talk to them about this because every time I bring anything up about my adoption they push me away and it makes me hurt even more I just want to find my birth parents so bad and live with them instead

Honey---that's not going to happen.

Your birthparents placed you for a reason--LOVE.

You need to find a way to talk to your adoptive parents. Maybe a counselor could help?

NO parents are perfect, and EVERY kid goes through the time in their life where their parents absolutely do not understand them. That doesn't mean they don't love you, or that they don't want the best for you---they just don't know how to communicate with you.

Believe me, your birthparents aren't perfect, and would have JUST as many problems understanding you too.

Can you talk to your religious leaders about this, or a trusted teacher or counselor at school?

There are groups where birth parents or birth children can register with to help find each other but it takes both looking for each other for it to work. It is a long shot but worth the try.
If one of these groups actually is one that goes out of the way to find the other party then they contact the other party to make sure THEY want to be found. They are not just going to give you their info without permission.

Those groups require that you be a legal adult to search, though---and if the OP wants to go live with his/her birthparents, then he/she probably isn't 18 yet.

Yeah true. I thought the information might be useful for the future.

As you said she may be thinking it would be better to live with her birth parents but things are rarely greener on the other side of the fence.
