I am a homeowner in foreclosure in Florida. Am I still supposed to collect rent from my tenant ( within the lease time frame) even though I have stopped payment to the Bank.Is it legal in Florida to still collect rent while you are in foreclosure, waiting for the bank to handover the house key?

You can still collect rent as long as you are the legal owner in Florida.
At the date the bank takes legal possession of the property you can not collect rent for that time frame.

Only CA, at this time, has laws that require a landlord to pay the rent towards the mortgage.
On the other hand, I would think it somewhat unethical to not apply rental towards the mortgage. I would, at the least, advise your tenants that you will be losing the house to foreclosure and that they should start looking for a new place to live and that you will be releasing them from the lease early. But that they will need to continue to pay rent until they move.
