Still trying to get my Day & Night furnace working Model # 80CD-12A Series 152, everything has electrical power but the transformer. Will this stop the ignition process? Thermstats fine, blower works, and the pilot lights on. Just won't ignite. Help! What woul the proper replacement transformer number be? It's sure is cold!

If the transformer isn't working, how did you test the blower?

There are two switches 1 outside the unit and 1 inside the unit case, they both will start the blower. Now the tranformer is between the two switches inside a metal electrical box, if that helps. What's the best way to check the transformer? There are a Green & Red wire on the same side and 2 Black wires on the other.

Check for line voltage in and low voltage out (approximately 24 v.). If the transformer failed, you should determine why or the next one might fail as well.
