My mother in law has a Goodman furnace (model unknown) that keeps going out.
She has had a Technician out twice in 3 days. The first time he replaced the pressure switch the second time said the unit was overheating causing it to shut down and made the necessary adjustments. I cleaned the flame sensor.
It works for a short time and then shuts down. She has to manually power off the unit wait a while power it back for it to start working.
She is retired on a fixed income and can't afford the $90.00 per visit the technician wants to charge.
Any suggestions?
