So tomorrow is going to suck because "my now ex" (I still have not caught on to calling him my ex) band is playing tomorrow right across the street from my work. I would like to think I could just hide in my office all day but I get sent out to run errands and stuff a lot. He is literally going to be about 100ft away from me.

I have already made up my mind to not make an @ss of myself by going to the show but what do I do/say if I run in to him?? :eek:

Smile and wave. If he says "Hi" reply "Hi" back and keep walking.

Keep it short and less than sweet. Don't be rude, but don't be overly pleasant.

Do NOT be rude. You will want to more then anything, but don't do it. Being polite and short sends the message that you are okay with yourself and the situation(even if your not) and keeps you focused on your task at hand. Stopping to talk the ex emotionally always is what you want but it ends up making you look worse and then you feel worse after the fact.

Just be polite. Say hi and that is it. I would not get into a conversation. If he is waiting to see you to talk to you without any additional effort, I would not be impressed. Just be cool inside and wear a calm face on the outside. Be cool.
