I am trying to set up our return address on word for our company. My boss is picky and has finally found what he likes. But I keep losing it whenever I close Word 2007 and open it to do another evnvelope all the formatting is gone.

I also want to print out a large amount of envelopes with just the return address so we can use them in our printer. Can I print like 50 at a time without having to redo and reformat every time?

Please help. I called support, but they said I would have to speak with a professional operator and it would cost me $259. Ouch!

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

In Word, Open: 1. Tools: (a) Letters and Mailings (b) Envelopes and Labels

2. In the dialogue box, enter the Return Address where
indicated, and be sure the "omit" box is not checked.

3. Click "Options" if you want bar code (usually not for return address)
This is under "Envelope Options" tab. Your might want to
click "Print Options" to set up how the envelope feeds
through the printer. Click "OK" after each setup procedure.

4. After you have it set up to everyone's satisfaction,
be sure you click "Yes" to "Save" the set up before
you x-out of Word. When you do this you will
name a file in Documents folder and give it the
proper extension (.doc).

Once you have saved the setup and designated a file for it, this return address
will be available for you to use with any forwarding address in the future.

How many envelopes you can print at one time depends on the printer.
You need to read the manual for that particular printer. Many business
printers will print about 25 at a time. My home printer only will do 10 at a time.
