Hello, I have a problem regarding my task manager and register editor, it has been disabled by administrator. I'm th eonly one using my computer. But when I'm trying to enable them, I cannot do it because there is a problem with my snap-in. could you help me enable my task manager & register editor? I'm working with WIndows XP.

Thanks

Most probably you've been infected with a virus. Maybe Brontok, Autorun.inf, or something similar. Try scanning and have it removed. I also have a removal pack for that if you're interested.

Here we go chap,
REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Pol icies\System /v DisableRegistryTools /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
Just copy this to your run dialogue box
& it might have disabled your folder option menu, check that also & fix under the registry once you have access... the command will run in safe mode also, so try both options, run it more than once
