My boyfriend moved me out off my apartment into a house that he is buying{for me as he say}. I was working and have been without a job, receiving a little unemployment. When I was working I was giving him the money to pay the mortgage. He said that he was going to get my name put on the paperwork but he never did.A few months ago he hit me in my eye and I had him sent to jail,we went to court and I dropped the charges .Now a few days later he wants me to get out. What can I do?

Move out since your name isn't on the paperwork which means his name is only one on the mortgage. As far as the problem w/ the relationship it's self explanatory... he hit you... you had him arrested and then dropped the charges. In my "book" you and he don't have a relationship. It ended when he hit you and he was sent to jail. I don't know why you'd want to have anything to do with him. Now, you are between a rock and a hard spot... laid off from your job and no place to live. Is it possible for you move in with a relative or friend until you get back on your feet w/ your job. You could look into a shelter for single women if nothing else will work.

You need to get out NOW for your own safety! It WILL happen again, and next time it will be worse. Trust me on this one, I know! I've been there! Start packing NOW, and get to a safe place, as said above. Family, friends, a shelter, wherever you can go for the time being, until you can get back on your feet. You can't stay there. Don't tell him where you are going, and if possible, leave when he's gone. Take what you can for now, and if you need to come back for larger items, take a police officer with you.

I don't know where you live, so I don't know what the laws are. Depending on how long you've been together, you might be able to file common law, and recover some of what you've lost.

I'm sorry you're going through this. You should have never dropped the charges, and I'm sure you realise that now, but that's done. I dropped them once too, so I do understand. It was one of the worst mistakes I ever made. Right now, be concerned for your own safety, and leave before something worse happens.

Good luck, and keep us updated.

Guys that hit girls are scum
And you should treat them as shuch..

Leave this loser.

And be thankful that you got out when you did.

Honestly people like that are not worth anything

I wish you all the best

He's doing you a favor by telling you to get out, use his directions wisely and take it for all the good that it means.
