Im a 21 yr old who is looking forward to having a child in the future. However, I don't think I can do that because I haven't gotten my period in like 5 months. I was 17 when I started birth control (depo) and I stopped using it a year after. I didn't get my period until literally a yr and half later. So I began having my period and then my doctor told me to get on birth control again, so I agreed and began using the ring. I stopped using the ring in Aug 08, and until this day I haven't gotten my period yet. What's going on? I don't want to think that Im infertile for the rest of my life. I want to be a regualar woman who has her pd every month.

It just takes time. I was on depo for a year and it tooke me a while before I started my period. Just wait it out. If you are very conderned though I would talk to my doctor.
