I recently moved from my moms house into an apartment. My mom did have a dog... I just moved on wed with my dog... he has not eaten anything, except last night (thurs) He does drink water, and went poopers this morning, and does go potty. My dog does have hypotthyrodism (is on soloxine 2 times a day) the only food he is getting is a little bit with his canned doged food for pills. I was searching around on websites, and noticed as he is laying with me, that he has been shaking almost like he is cold, so I cover him up, which isn't helping... If anyone has any ideas please help me!!

Likely it's just a change that he is coping with. Try feeding him treats and don't leave him alone; let him sleep with you for the next couple of days. As long as he is drinking water he will be fine.
I have a dog that shakes when we start to cook... lol... that's because a few time the smoke alarm went off and now every time we cook he thinks it's going to go off and he's always in a state of anxiety.
So we have a shaking dog, who shakes when things freak him out a bit. Your dog will likely be fine when he finally adjusts to the new place. Make sure you let him come into every room with him and don't make a big deal about things, be calm and he will be calm. You are his pack leader, so act confident and calm and he will follow.

I would be a little concerned with his thyroid condition. It doesn't sound like he is eating much. That would concern me. He needs to eat healthfully, with his condition. How much did he eat prior to this? Are you feeding him a special diet, to help with his health issues?
It could be a change in his environment, but I would keep an eye on him. If he still isn't eating much by Monday, I would definitely get him in for a vet visit. His thyroid could go way out of whack, and then you could have more problems on your hands. Just make sure he stays hydrated.
Also, he might really miss you mom's dog! Dogs have separation anxiety sometimes, when taken out of their normal surroundings, and separated from their pack members. That could also likely be the reason for the shaking.

He used to eat 2 times a day, every morning and around 4pm or so... I did feed him some canned dog food with his dry, and he did seem to eat a little... I'll definatley keep you posted! I'll be making a phone call today to the vet, and see what they think!! Thanks for the responds...
