Hi I am 28 and have never been late for a period. I am usually spot on every 28 days but I am now 10 days late. My partner and I have been using the withdrawl method and are as sure as we can be that nothing leaked before he pulled out. I have no symptoms just slight cramps and a little amount of clear/white discharge, I am not stressed and a pregnancy test was negative.. Is there any other reason why my period could be late? I don't feel pregnant but I am concerned about what could be wrong.
Thanks

I wouldn’t put all your faith in the W/D method. At worst it is not helping you prevent pregnancy at all and at best you are only delaying the inevitable.

My wife and I used that method and what do you know after a couple of years … she got pregnant. I am not saying you are just that if you continue to use this method it will happen eventually.

That being said if you are 10 days late go by a test and find out for sure. I would advise buying two because if one turns up positive you will probably want to take another to make sure. Also, I would recommend not buying the cheap brand (just from personal experience).

Go to a Dr. My wife was late and took a test and it was negative. She didn't get her period and went to the Dr. She was pregnant, which in our case was great news. Pulling out does not work and is not a good source of prevenitive sex.

As everyone has said, the pullout method is not a form of birth control... I got pregnant that way.

You can still get a negative pregnancy test even if you are pregnant. As said, see a doctor to get blood work done for a more accurate answer.
