Ok well, this is an odd one. I live in a house that has 2 septic tanks. One is hooked to the toilet, shower and bathroom sink, the other is hooked to the kitchen sink, the dishwasher, and the washing machine. Well for as long as I have lived here, when I did laundry I would hear gurgling in the kitchen sink which was fine, but then the water that was being spun out of the laundry I was doing all of a sudden started backing up into the kitchen sink. It never overflowed, but the pipe busted loose under the sink and water went everywhere of course. Well we just thought there was a clog somewhere but it wasn't too bad because the water always went back out. NOW, here is the BIG issue. The other day, we noticed that EVERY load of clothes we cleaned would cause this back up, the pipe to pop loose under the sink, then we would have to wait it out until it went back down the drain. Then it got to the point where the water didn't want to drain at all, and then all the nasty water that is drained out of the dishwasher started backing up in it!! My father bought industrial strength drano type stuff ( 3 bottles! ) follwed the directions to a "T" and still nothing, so he went and bought a 50 ft pipe snake and he snaked the pipes, pulled out all kinds of crap, but he kept at it until the snake moved freely within the pipe. He hooked everything back up and low and behold, NOTHING the water still will NOT go down the drain, I can't do laundry because my washer is full of filty water, I just don't know where else to turn!! If the pipes were snaked and cleaned and everything, why on earth won't the water go down the drain?! Please help me here, I am lost.
