An Irish priest is driving down to New York and gets stopped for speeding in Connecticut . The state trooper smells alcohol on the priest's breath and then sees an empty wine bottle on the floor of the car.
He says, 'Sir, have you been drinking?'
'Just water,' says the priest.
The trooper says, 'Then why do I smell wine?'
The priest looks at the bottle and says, 'Good Lord! He's done it again!'

Sometimes it just gets at me when the same stereotype is used over and over again and then you get American born and bred people who claim to be Irish and support these stereotypes. Although I understand that it was a joke and I replied in an intended jovial tone although apparently that didn't come across, it can be quite frustrating.

You know, Where ever you find four Irish you'll find a fifth(of whiskey)
The same joke can have it as catholic instead of the Irish..
Politically incorrect jokes are just that jokes.
Keep up the Guinness mag!
