Good morning,

My FAFSA was rejected by a local university (School A) so I tried to go to a community college (School B). In order to get into School B I have to get my transcripts from School A. yesterday I got a letter in the mail saying that I could not get transcripts because I owed them money. When I called up there a few minutes ago, they said I owed 300 dollars because my FAFSA had been rejected. Does this make sense to anyone?

Did you pay your tuition fee? When FAFSA is rejected it means you can't get financial aid, so you have to pay out of your pocket.

The above is correct. They will not transfer transcripts until all tuition and other fees have been paid.
