What's the brand name of your faucet? When you had the valve apart did you turn the water back on to flush out the supplies and open valve body? Cheers, Tom

I know this sounds stupid, but I really have no idea the brand name the initial valve was. I brought it to Home Depot and the clerk and I found one that was the same size and look as the one I took out. Moen... When I took out the valve, first time, this time, I did not flush out the valve. But I did yesterday. I will try to flush the cartridge... Maybe something got stuck in it when I replaced it. Any other suggestions?

I am sure that Tom will ask you to remove the cartridge one more time turn on te water for a few seconds to flush any debris that is stuck inside the faucet reassemble the faucet and give it a try and see, if that wouldn't help then you would need to return the cartridge back to the store for replacement, good luck.

Keep in mind that Moen has a life time warranty Warranty Information for Moen Faucets (http://www.moen.com/consumersupport/warranty.cfm) you may need it. If you greased a new cartridge properly with silicone gel or plumbers grease it should not leak unless the valve body tube is scratched. Once they get a scartch or nick its time to call the number I gave you.

OK! Take the cartridge out one more time and inspect it closely for trash that may be preventing it from closing. If you still have a problem then take it back and exchange it under warranty. Good luck, Tom
