Hello hope someone could help me with this, I was charged with public intoxication in Aug of 1992, never got around to paying the fine, received a letter from the Ontario ( Canada )court of justice today Dec 10 2008, saying I had an overdue fine, I have not been sent a letter or heard from them until now, can they still come back on me for this ?

Scooter, you haven't been reading the papers. The fact that you got a notice on December l0th from a fine posted in l992, is every indication that they can try to collect. So yes. Curious... how much was the fine ?

Yes, and if you don't pay they can issue a warrant for your arrest. They are extending a kindness by notifying you first.
