I have been bleaching my hair for a while now ,My hair is getting damaged I would like to know the steps on dyeing over bleached Blond hair so that it doesn't turn green or gray and without me going to a hair studio and paying out the butt to get it fixed.I would like to be able to go to Sally beauty supply and get the products to fix it myself.Thank you~

What colour do you want to colour your hair?

When going from blonde to dark, you need to pre pigment the hair to avoid a green cast.
So lets say you want to go to a brown, apply a red colour (I would use a temporary mousse) to the hair, dry it in, then apply the brown shade on top.

I bleached my bangs over the summer... when I wanted it out I dyed my hair back to my natural color (a light brown) and it went then the next day when I washed my hair it went to red then went to a dirty blonde... it took me 4 dye jobs in a 4 months period for my hair to go back to normal... but I still have a red hugh in the area I dyed. So I wouldn't just use dye from a box... trust me lol my hair did not look good. Your best bet would be to go to a cheap salon and just have them fix it. If not I would call the 1800 on the back of the dye you want to use and ask them what you should do. They might have a product that will specifically do what you want it to do.

Good luck!
