Does anyone have a guesstimate on the cost to relocate a modular home furnace from the middle of the house to one end, say 25feet from where it is now? It is only 4 years old and we are not considering getting a new one. We just had our water softener taken out because of city water being installed in the next month or two, and there is space in the utility room now, where it should have been put in the first place I think. We are tired of listening to the blower all the time. Thanks!

I cannot get close to a guesstimate. Call and get two bids from local HVAC contractors. It might be tuff to do in a modular due to the construction style. All the wiring, low voltage wiring, supply and return air duct, gas lines if used, refrigerant lines for the outdoor A/C unit etc has to be moved, extended and reattached. Just moving the outdoor A/C unit can be 500.00 easy
