View Full Version : 96 Honda Civic keeps blinking.

Hello. I just inherited a '96 Civic with 75,000 miles. It drove great for a couple months and then it was in storage for a couple months. I went to start it and nothing happened except the hazard lights blinked slowly for a short while. I got a new battery and now when I open the door, the hazard lights blink slowly 15 times and then nothing. If I turn the key some of the panel ligths come on but nothing else, no turning of the starter either. Any clue? Thanks...

. Push the hazard light button to make sure it's turned off.
. Fully charge the battery--I'm not sure how long ago the new battery was installed.
. Clean battery terminals and cable connections.
. Test all underhood and underdash fuses with a test light or multimeter:

. Check for codes.
