I have a la130 john deere lawn tractor and I disengaged the mower while engine was running and now the mower won't start. What can I do to get it started?

I do not get the question. That model has an electric clutch which would normally be disengaged before stopping engine. Make sure the button of the clutch switch is pushed in. If it is make sure brake is depressed(ther is a switch there also.) That all being the case, open the hood and look to the rear of the engine on the left side. The brake switch is there and could have broken free or come loose from its mounting bracket(it has the five wires going to it.)
If not any of those, post again.
