Hi,

I encountered some hallucinations and depression symptoms around 5 years back. Since then I am taking Sizodon plus 3 mg (Risperidone) and Nexito (Escitalopram Oxalate). I took Sizodon plus 3 mg and Nexito 20 mg for first 2 and a half years and now since last two and a half years I am taking sizodon plus half and Nexito 10 mg. I don't have any symptoms which I was having before. My problem is that I am not able to perform sexual functions properly (I got married 8 months back, since then I am not able to penetrate my tool due to loss of interest while intercourse) and also I am having the habit of vomitting every morning(Every morning vomit comes out containing saliva and acidic things from stomach, no food particle comes out).
With reagrds to my habits, I smoke around 15 cigarettes per day usually with tea or coffee and I am an occasional drinker. Please please tell me how to get rid of this sexual malfunction and vomitting. Is this because of Escitalopram Oxalate?

Less common side effects may include: Abdominal pain, abnormal dreaming, allergic reactions, blurred vision, bronchitis, chest pain, coughing, earache, fever, gas, heartburn, high blood pressure, hot flushes, increased appetite, irritability, joint pain, lack of concentration, lack of energy, lack of orgasm, light-headedness, menstrual cramps, migraine, muscle pain, nasal congestion, neck and shoulder pain, pain in arms or legs, palpitations, rash, ringing in the ears, sinus congestion, sinus headache, stomachache, tingling, toothache, tremors, urinary problems, vertigo, vomiting, weight changes, yawning A variety of very rare side effects have also been reported. Check with your doctor if you develop any new or unusual symptoms.

This is from a patients fact sheet for lexapro (Escitalopram Oxalate)and as I have highlighted, see your doctor with this concern, that's is why you have a doctor.

To answer your concern about sex and vomiting,Yes,they can be a result of the medications, but not necessarily the ONLY factor which is making these symptoms arise.

Hope this helps, write back if you want, there are others in here with a lot of knowledge in this area.:)

Go for a complete check up.. . chances r that u might be suffering from kidney disorder... cos taking medicines spoil the kidneys,so my suggestion would be to go for a medical check up or check up of kidneys.
