I have a 22 old Janitrol (goodman) furnace and my furnace guy, besides trying to sell me a new furnace, says the intermittent pilot control module need replaced as it sounds like it's not working properly (bouncing relay). My problem is he wants to charge an arm an a leg to replace it and I found the exact one I have online for $130 (united technologies B13707-24). I'm really contemplating replacing it myself but was wanted to know if anyone could tell me why I shouldn't or if there's anything besides the obvious I need to take into account (yes, I know to kill the power before attempting something like this). I want to make sure it's as easy as it seems. Like I mentioned it's the same so I plan to just move the wires over to the new one. Thanks.

Wire it wire for wire. If you have to remove all the wires to change it then write down and label them.
