I've been tasked with a project.

Basically I need to arrange 4 19" TFT to make one large display and have a smaller display to work off.

I can get my head around the large display but can't work out how to have a separate smaller display that shows what is displayed on the large one.

Any help would be great.

I'm looking at driving it with a quad graphics in a PC, basically its form a large Excel sheet (best not to ask why)

Outsource it. :D
Seriously , there are people who do this for a living for trade shows, etc.

Thought about that but I'm on a tight budget, sub £1,500, so not an option.

I was thinking a quad output AGP card, but I'm not sure if I can use the onboard graphics or would I have to slap in a simple pci card ?

I imagine it would have to be add-on card with it's specialized software to span the monitors.

Here's a few links I found:

NK already thought about that, even speced up with a matrox quad card.

Just need to work out the 5th output

I suppose a projector's out of the question?

Stu, yep don't have anywhere to site a projector.
Must admit it was my first idea.

What do you think of this?

Now that looks like a cunning plan.
At least that way I could use one of the other card outputs to drive the smaller display.
