I might be pregnant and I need to know if I am very soon because I have Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrom and I take sleeping pills, narcotics, and antidepressants because it and I'm sure I would have to immediately stop some and find alternatives for others. I don't eat a lot of much in general also but I think that's because I have to lay down quite a bit, so I would have to start eating a lot more and healthier so there wouldn't be any problems with the baby.

The reason why I might be pregnant is because my boyfriend is in the army and lives away from me so I went to visit him for 2 weeks. We were sexually active quite a bit and I take birth control but when I was there I got a bladder infection so I took antibiotics for it. I stupidly forgot that it decreases the effectiveness of the birth control so I would say that there was about 5 days of that situation while we had sex (but he only came in me once) and also my last day there we had sex (he didn't come in me) and that night I couldn't take my birth control because I forgot it there. I should have had my period the next day (I left November 10) and I had nothing for 4 days until I had some light brownish-red discharge once that day and than again the next.

I have taken 3 pregnancy tests (I should be around 5-3 weeks if I were) and all have come back negative but I've been having diluted pee (I get it on and off) so I was wondering if that could make it a false negative?

Also here are my symptoms:

Bloating (bigger than I've ever had in my life)
Nausea (from just regular nausea to something smelling absolutely disgusting making me gag)
Headaches
Lowered, softer cervix
Tender breasts
Darker nipples (with spots getting visible)
I'm way more tired than I usually am
Frequent urination (it wakes me up at night... when I finally fall asleep)
Food cravings (for the last 2 days all I've wanted to eat was bananas and pecans)
Just feeling sick (which is a symptom for me because I get really sick feeling when a lot of hormones go through me because of my illnesses)
Mood Swings (which I NEVER have... not even on my period!)
Raise in body temperature (it's normally 97.2 but the last 4 days it's been 99 flat)

Should I pursue this more? I mean this is a lot of evidence but my mom keeps telling me she "feels" I'm fine even though when I tell her a new symptom she always goes "S***". Should I go for a blood test as soon as possible or should I wait for when my next period should be (December 8th).

Please and thanks!

Best to see your doctor since if you are not, you need to be seen for the combination of problems.

Don't wait for your next period. Fr. Chuck is right. Go to a doctor or clinic today and find out for sure. Even if you are not pregnant, something's up.

As far as all the drugs, they generally they don't cause birth defects in the first two weeks after conception. They may contribute to a spontaneous abortion (which are quite common, up to 60% of all conceptions end invisibly this way). But if the embryo makes it past two weeks, then the drugs may cause birth defects.

If you would keep this baby or any baby, then you should start eating healthier today. Don't wait to find out if you are pregnant. After you make the doctor's appointment, look up the drugs you are taking and see which ones are associated with birth defects, so you can talk to the doctor about what to do.

Definitely go see a doctor so you can find out for sure.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I attempted to eat more today... took the vitamins and minerals and other stuff I've been somewhat neglecting to take (at least consistently since it makes me incrediblely nauseous)... and I'm planning on going to a clinic to get a blood test tomorrow. But I'm still wondering if diluted urine could cause a false negative?

Yes, diluted urine can cause a false negative. That is why it is always suggested to use first morning urine when taking a HPT.

Also, about the nausea and the vitamins and minerals... Have you tried to take them at bedtime so that you can sleep through these symptoms?
