Have a Dell laptop that uses two 3x3 mm screws to hold two corners of the hard drive. Both are gone, leaving only one screw to hold the hard drive to the chassis.

I've searched and not found them online. I've checked with two computer repair facilities -- neither one appeared interested in helping. One suggested a home improvement center (for a 3x3 mm?? ) and another said to try Radio Shack -- the one in our small town didn't have it in the first place.

Just need two of these, not the 1,000 that I did find available.

Any ideas? Well, other than finding another such machine and taking a couple into protective custody? I thought about that myself, by spouses laptop is a different model and therefore doesn't use similar screws.

Thanks in advance!

I just Googled "M3x3" and M3x3 Laptop / Notebook Computer Screw 10-pack (Hard Drive Caddy Screw) $5.00 (http://www.powerbrixx.com/m3x3-laptop-notebook-computer-screw-10pack-hard-drive-caddy-screw-p-1147.html) was first hit. Also Triangle Laptops (http://stores.channeladvisor.com/triangle-laptops/Screws/). If length isn't critical, industrial supplier Enco (http://www.use-enco.com) has button head socketed M3x0.5 x 6mm cap screws for $5.47/100.

Thank you! It's all in how the question is asked. I googled 3x3mm -- never thought of reversing.

Much appreciated!!
