I just read on a website that people on H4 visa can work online till their income is under $1000.Is it their any truth to it?It will really be good if that's possible.

Actually, the break point is $600. Once your income exceeds $600, the "employer" becomes obligated to prepare Form 1099 to document your income to the IRS.

Regardless of the amount, earning ANY money is a violation of your H-4 visa. It is NOT a major violation, but the USCIS will eventually take notice if you continually earn this money and report it on the tax return you file with your spouse.
