Over the summer my bud got me into scene girls. Well there's this scene freshman in my lunch period, I'm a softmore. She's really pretty and I'd kind of like to get to know her, I know bad reason to want to get to know a girl right. She only hangs out with other scene girls and emo guys. I hate emo guys and I would rather a cow than become one, even if it's the only way to impress this girl. So here's my question, is there any way for me to impress this girl, hell is there any way for me to confront this girl with out me having to resort to becoming emo?

I'm not familiar with "scene," but I do know about emo.

Bottom line, NEVER change who you are for a girl, a friend, a coach, a relationship, a job, an experience, a thrill. If you feel that you have to change your basic character, then that person/experience is not worth it.

Why couldn't you just be yourself around her? You never know, she may be looking for someone just like you. Don't change to fit in, it never works out.

By changing who you are in order to impress someone, you lose a bit of yourself.

Ask her if she'd like to get a coffee, watch a movie, whatever YOU like to do. You never know... :)

I knew what an emo guy was. I never even heard of a scene girl until NK put that link there. They look like those stupid bratz dolls. Don't become an Emo kid for a girl. Be who you are if she likes you then she like you. If she doesn't then don't worry about it.

Definitely just get to know her. She might actually like that fact that you aren't emo because than she wouldn't have to put up with the complaining. It's definitely one thing to be friends with an emo guy and to date one...
