My 5 yr.old mini dachshunds is a few weeks pregnant. She has not eaten or drank water in 24hrs. I'm so worried about her. She has had some diarrhea, bleeding and vomit. She is about 6-7lbs. Healthy and active. Please only helpful comments PLEASE!

I know you would appreciate positive input, lelbrid, but its impossible when these symptoms are discussed in a small pregnant dog. We can't diagnose animals no more then people, therefore, I suggest probably what you have already considered, I hope, is an immediate trip to the vet.

Gestation period is 63 days, 9 weeks, so your little lady is half way through her pregnancy and there certainly should not be any bleeding, diahrrea or vomit. And on top of all of this she is getting a little old to be having a litter.
