I have an Acer Aspire 5520-5334. It has an AMD Athlon 64x2 Mobile Technology, 160GB hard drive and 1GB of RAM. The computer runs and works excellent but I want more RAM so I can play more games, install more software, etc. Does anyone know what brand/type of RAM is compatible with my Acer Aspire 5520-5334? I'm thinking of getting at least 2GB more than what I have, to make 3GB. That should be sufficient enough in order to play certain games and speed up my laptop.


Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. :)

I have good luck with Crucial's Memory Advisor Tool at Memory upgrades, flash media, and usb storage at Crucial.com (http://www.crucial.com/).

Be aware that if both of your memory slots already have DIMMs in them, you'll have to remove one to add the new one. This would leave you with 2.5 GB of RAM (assuming you bought a 2 GB DIMM).
