I am doing a essay on wats the right age to date can you help?

I say dating comes with risks, so the right time to date is when you fully ready to accept all the risks that come with this particular stage of life.

Every person is in a different "world", so their dangers and accomplishments and geographies are all different. That means there probably isn't a universal pat answer.

Other than to say, when you're ready to face the rollercoaster of emotions, the betrayals, the deep affections and repercussions of feelings out of control, when you're ready to pay your way not only in dollars but in emotional mileage and not believe your world ends every time things go badly, then dating is safe for you.

Having said that, I know a lot of 30 year olds who don't take that much responsibility for their actions or their emotions, and probably shouldn't be dating. Hehe...

As a very general rule of thumb I would say that people should not start dating until they are at least 16. Heck I told both of my girls that they could not start dating until they turned 30. Of course neither of them listened to me.
