I just installed two new Hampton Wall Lamps, replacing my outdoor gargage lights. My problem is that I reconnected white to white, black to black, and ground to ground in the same manner as the units replaced. When I turned the power back on, no lights? I tried grounding two different ways, wire to wire as the replaced units and to the grounding bar, both had the same results, no lights? The lamps only came with "assembly instructions" and no trouble shooting guides. Any suggestions? The lamps are motion detectors if that makes any difference. SKU#240-339, 240-336.
Thank you
Steven

One thing that comes to mind is I have run into some new fixtures that have deeper sockets than other fixtures. What this means is that if you don't use the right lamp, the glass of the light bulb will bottom out on the socket before it makes contact to the tab at the bottom of the socket. If this is the problem you will need to buy long neck lamps. If that is not it, check to see if the motion sensor part of the fixture is connected properly. Some fixtures require you to wire these in in the field. This is so you can connect more than one fixture on a motion sensor. I hope this will help.
