I have two ceiling fans in two adjacent rooms. One is a Hampton Bay and the other a Harbor Breeze. Both remotes work the Harbor Breeze fan but all of a sudden neither remote will operate the Hampton Bay. It worked fine one day ago. The batteries are both new.

The dip switches in both remotes are set the same. How do I reset the dip switches in the fan? Is that the problem? Wht do you suppose it all of a sudden stopped working?

If one or both remotes originally operated the Hampton Bay, it doesn't sound like that is the problem. Yes they are both the same frequency but that wouldn't cause one to stop working. Sounds like something else failed in the Hampton Bay, take it back!
