Hi I have a forced air gas furnace and I think I need to have it serviced or something. I live in an area where the average temperature for the month of November was between 32 - 40 degrees I keep my thermostate set between 68 - 70 my house is 1900 sq feet with a full unfinished basement I am using roughly 17 cubic meters per day does anyone know if they sounds like too much and should I have the gas company check my furnace.

Gas usage will vary even in the same sq ft area. Degree days are used to calculate usage and usually the utility that is providing the fuel can answer your question much better than we can here
