If you used a paid preparer you could check with them to see if there would be a charge for another copy.

Have you asked if whoever is wanting to see the return accept a IRS generated transcript instead? The IRS has an application available as a pdf you should be able to download to obtain the transcripts

I know of NO WAY to download the transcripts on-line. However, if Robertva knows of such a link, I request that he provide it so I can check it out.

However, you can request your tax transcript telephonically, and the IRS will fax them to you if youhave an urgent need, often on the same day.

I didn't say anything about downloading the transcripts. I indicated that, like many other IRS forms, the application for the transcripts could be downloaded as a pdf file from the IRS site.
