I've been trying to get this sticky posted at the top so we can share info on products that contain it
right now I'm trying the DHC alpha arbutin lotion... I will keep you all posted
please can we stop talking about ty patch making mono
and mysterious ivory coast formula bio claire... which could contain rat poison for all we know
and talk about the one chemical that's grabbing headlines as 10x hydroquinone but completely safe!!

My daily moisturiser contains alpha arbutin. But I've just recently started using it.
Will also let you know how it goes for me.

What are the evidence for these claims? Alpha arbutin is totally safe? Any studies to support this?

actually yes sara uk
alpha arbutin was actually produced for the sole purpouse of being better and safer than hydroquinone.
in tests it is shown not to have the hydroquinone adverse affects such as thinning of the skin...
and also to be 10x more effective in breaking down the tyronasainne (hope I spelled that right) that forms melanin
yet for the life of me... the market hasn't jumped on this chemical and hailed it the find of the century...
its pissing me off... there should be hundreds of products putting these tests to the test
