Hi. I'm a 15 yr. old male and I'm not sure if I should admit to being a virgin to some of my older and experienced male and female friends. They've asked me and I usually just avoid it or lie. This is really a 2 question post. Should I admit to being a virgin and when the time finally comes who should it be with, someone experienced or a virgin like myself?

There's nothing wrong with being a virgin at 15. In fact I would be really really disturbed if you were NOT a virgin. So yeah, if your friends ask, tell them the truth because there's no reason to lie about it.

And it's not like when you are with someone you have to tell them you're a virgin. If they ask, tell them.
Don't "plan" on being with someone experienced or a virgin. Why would you base it on that? You should ONLY be with someone that you love and who loves you.
Don't even have sex until you're ready to be a daddy either, period. Because even with protection it's a very real possibility.

Nothing wrong with being a virgin, in fact it is something to be proud of. It is really a sad society, if a 15 year old feels it is wrong, you should remain that way for some time to come still.

When you do, it should be with someone that you have had a long term relationship with ( a few months is not long term)

OMG!! THERE'S 13 YEAR OLDS AT SCHOOL WHO AREN'T VIRGINS! I'M 13! NOW THAT'S SCAREY! Be proud of your virginity because it is a sign of purity and well that's a good thing. Plus you said your friends are older than you so don't worry because in my opinion it is better to wait until you are married.

At 15 it's already time for you to start resisting the mob mentality. What I mean is that in a group, there is a tendency to want to just "go along" with whatever the group thinks or says. This is not only dumb, it's dangerous. But it is also common and expected.

You have to start thinking for yourself, even in a group. A group of boys standing around putting down the idea of virginity makes you believe there's something wrong with it and you seek to hide it, too. Why?

It's time now to ALWAYS choose silence over lies. And when silence won't do, you wait and calmly state your differing opinion without using terms that make their position sound wrong. They're making virginity sound bad, so you calmly state: "That's fine for you guys, I understand. I haven't had sex yet and feel fine about that. It'll happen sometime, I have no doubt."

Most likely they'll try to pick on you. Let them, chuckle a little, too. Then say it again, "I feel just fine waiting til it means something."

This applies to any topic. Just because everyone in a group is in agreement doesn't make them right. Everyone attacking your position on any topic doesn't mean you're wrong. You best just know what you think/feel and be ready to state it without shame.

The real shame in life is when we open our mouths and purposefully state something as a belief that we do not believe. That's a shame.

Since your a guy I understand why you feel like lying but you don't have to because I bet they do the same with u

Its perfectly fine to be a 15 year old vergin

My boyfriend is 19 and he is still a virgin, I am 17 and I am too
There is nothing wrong with being a virgin
Be happy you don't have to worry about STD's or having a girl pregnant

And do it when you feel confertable or in love with the girl despite the fact that she is a virgin or not
