I'm currently unemployed in CA and receiving Unemployement benefits.
I want to start my own construction Company and start working as a (self employed) General Contractor. At what point do the Unemployment benefits stop??
a)When I Incorporate the Company and start working
b) When I'm awarded the contract
c) When I cash my fist payment (income) as a General Contractor
d) Other

Once you no longer become available to work, one of the requirements that you are looking and available for work.

Also as soon as you start working, you are now earning money, may not be paid till a latter date but the work you do is earning money.
